In today’s world time is very important, if not everything. Time to prepare, time to market, time to close, time to roll out, and many other time related events can determine in great part whether a franchise venture is successful or yesterdays news. Franchises have been burdened, or perhaps mandated is a better choice of words, to comply with Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (“UFOC”) law for 25+ years. During this 25+ year period the UFOC has changed dramatically, and the legal bodies controlling its function and purpose have also changed, but one thing has remained constant over these years, and that is UFOC’s are expensive.
They are very expensive to create, super expensive to produce and distribute, and unbelievably costly to store and audit. UFOC’s are one of the single greatest expenses new franchises face, and for the first time there is a cheaper and more effective way to do business. It is legal, it is safe, it is secure, it is encouraged and it will make an existing franchise more efficient and lower the barrier to entry for new franchisers. This revolutionary technology has only been around for 135 years, so it is about time the legislators let franchisers take advantage of the savings. What is this new technology you ask? It is electronic signature capturing, and New Hampshire was the first court system to rule on the validity of electronic signatures in 1869, it was in relation to the telegraph and signing for invoices for goods shipped by railway cars, but it was and is legal, so why not use it in other forms of business?
In the 1980’s businesses and courts started to ask this same question, and voilà there was the fax machine. The fax machine got the proverbial electronic signature ball rolling again in business, but the Internet will take it to its rightful level of use in business. Practically everyone has access to the Internet now. Public libraries, schools, businesses and 100’s of millions of homes have Internet connectivity available to them on demand. The fax machine was certainly prevalent, but it could never have the wide spread use and functionality that the Internet offers, and therefore the Internet is the best logical way to spread the use of electronic signatures.
Franchises may send their UFOC electronically to potential franchisees. They may do this by building internal delivery systems, or they may use external delivery services. The delivery method will depend on the size and nature of the franchise, but the purpose will be the same, cut costs and reduce time to close business. Any franchise that is not actively looking for an electronic UFOC delivery service is going to be left behind. Electronic delivery will shorten sales cycles by allowing franchises to start the 10 day waiting period immediately, and open up additional markets by reducing the cost of entry.
Franchisers that embrace electronic UFOC delivery will save money and time in multiple ways. Take a look at the following chart.
Costs Associated with a 150 Page Paper UFOC’s
(1) 150 + Ink + Paper + Wear and Tear on printer = $3
(2) Binding = $1
(3) Outbound Overnight Shipping = $20
(4) Inbound Overnight Shipping = $20
(5) 150 Pages 1 Year Storage Using Government Estimate = $19
(6) Labor @ 2 Hours for Total Process – Sending and Receiving = $40
(7) 2 Days Opportunity Time for Best Delivery Option = $Unknown
Total Cost of Using Paper = ($103.00)
Costs Associated With Paperless UFOC Using Electronic Signatures
Labor @ 15 Minutes for Total Process = $5
Sending File Electronically = $5
Delivery Is Immediate = No Lost Opportunity Costs
Total Cost of a Paperless Transaction = ($10)
Total Savings Using Electronic Signatures vs. Paper = $93.00 per UFOC
The FTC has issued several Informal Staff Opinion Letters to electronic signature companies acknowledging that these services comply with the current FTC rules. PrivaSign.com, located at http://privasign.com/laws-cfr-ftc.asp is one of the companies that received such an opinion letter, and additional companies may be found at the http://www.ftc.gov website. By utilizing an electronic signature and UFOC delivery service, like PrivaSign, franchisers will save hundreds and potentially even thousands of dollars a month delivering their UFOC’s, and capturing new business.
Franchisers who are slow to adapt new electronic signature methods will undoubtedly lose business to the faster and more aggressive franchises. Speed and timely delivery of materials will allow technology savvy franchisers to approach and win more business. In today’s franchise world prospects generally look at multiple franchisers before selecting which one is right for them. Therefore the franchiser who has the fastest response time, and the first chance to earn a potential franchisees business is more than likely going to win.
Electronic UFOC distribution combined with an efficient electronic signature capture service is the right choice for virtually every franchiser. Explore the market and try out different providers to discover which one is right for you. The cost savings, the time savings and the efficiency gained by using electronic signature technologies is worth the effort.

Generally, people buy laser pointer considering it as a fun gadget for kids. It is the most widely practiced use of these devices. However, such pointers are professionally used and required by the military personnel. In addition, giving the same to kids as a fun gadget is not the correct practice. Laser pointers are harmful for kids’ health. Therefore, they should strictly avoid giving these tools to kids for playing games as long they do not know about the associated risk in it. Some of them can be so powerful that they can damage the vision power of a person. Again, a few of them are capable to ignite flame thus making them a very useful tool to protect you and scare off the enemies.
It is not recommended, therefore, to buy these pointers right away, especially if they are made for military personnel and military uses. Some of them come in various forms, such as pen, making it highly dangerous if it comes to the wrong hands. It is essential for the person to consider the safety features before they buy these pointers. However, despite this debate and consideration, many people still keep buying them as fun gadget for kids. It is for your safety you should consider knowing about the gadget before giving the same to your kid. This is safe for everyone. So, consider above facts when you buy laser pointers.

This is a rational question with rational answers, but not everyone has the time or the tenacity to sit down and read the Electronic Signatures In Global and National Commerce Act (“ESIGN”), Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (“UETA”) or the stacks of other regulations and guidance that make this technology not only legal, but also stress the vital importance of adopting electronic signature technologies.
Today the average American office worker consumes (12,000) pieces of paper a year, with an average annual printing expense per employee ranging from $600-$2000. Storing paper and retrieving stored paper is also quite costly. The U.S. government estimates that (1 Lbs) of paper costs ($19) a year to store and manage. At that rate, assuming your business stores only 60% of the paper printed by your employees, your business is spending $1,500 annually per employee on paper storage alone.
There are obvious other costs associated with paper, for example the costs associated with faxing, shipping, receiving and time factors such as waiting for a job to finish printing or waiting on a package to arrive. In the end all businesses feel these costs, but most look at it as a fixed cost of doing business. In reality this is a variable cost of doing business based on old fashioned processes, and the United States government along with virtually every other developed country has passed legislation and regulations encouraging businesses to change the way they do business today, and take advantage of new legal and secure alternatives.
All businesses are looking for a competitive edge, and electronic signature technologies can and will play a vital role in helping businesses find and achieve this competitive edge. Look at the simple cost savings your business can achieve by eliminating some of the hard and soft costs mentioned above. (1) Gigabyte (“GB”) of hard drive space costs ($.50), and this (1) GB of storage will store (100,000) pages of single spaced text. This is the equivalent of ($19,000) of storage savings, ($11,000) of printing savings, and countless savings on time and miscellaneous expenses. Using electronic signature technologies will allow your business to send the previously printed materials securely and immediately to anyone anywhere in the world. Once they receive the file the recipient can legally electronically sign the file, which allows your business to act immediately, and never wait for a package to arrive from the client or prospect again.
This simple process will have wide ranging effects on your business, and the businesses you work with. Sales and production cycles will be shortened, employees will be more efficient, and complying with strict federal and state guidelines will become increasingly easier as your business processes move toward electronic communications and storage.
In the end the decision is not whether to move to an electronic format, but which format is right for your business. Some may feel that electronic signatures are too expensive or complex to implement into their business, but this is no longer the case. There are several pay-as-you-go services on the market today that will allow you to send files and capture secure and legal electronic signatures regardless of your budget. For larger corporations these pay-as-you-go services offer fast, affordable convenience, and in many cases these services offer better options and are easier to use than large and complex in-house solutions.
You can do a Google or Yahoo search to find a list of electronic signature service providers, and determine which one is right for you. There is also a helpful competition analysis put together by PrivaSign.com, which you can review at https://privasign.com/esign-competition-analysis.asp. Have fun and explore all of your options. The goal should be to become more efficient, and during this process your business will certainly save money, become more productive and save time.

It seems like everyone and their mother is on Twitter these days. Twitter has become a new way for people to communicate and share ideas. It’s dramatically different from email, phone or texting. If you don’t already “get” Twitter, it’s about sharing and discovering interesting stories as they happen. With access to Twitter on-the-go, you can participate (or just listen in on) real life conversations that are happening all around the world and close to home.
Twitter is already up, running and dominating. Internet folks are loving it because of its simplicity and ease. It mixes short messaging service, blogging and bookmarks sharing. Twitter has tasted a great success since it’s launch. There have been designed so many widgets, addons, applications and other stuff for twitter and now there is something new. There’s a new tool out recently which will let people Tweet on the go.
Folks at Peek, the makers of Peek Pranto an award-winning mobile email program, are now offering a Twitter only gadget named TwitterPeek. TwitterPeek was uncovered byJosh Topolsky on the late night show of Jimmy Fallon. TwitterPeek is being sold for $199.95 with lifetime service and you can also get it for $99.95 with 6 month of service ($7.95/month afterwards) both on their site and on Amazon as well. You’ll start receiving tweets in minutes!. TwitterPeek works on a high-speed wireless data network with nationwide coverage which means no wi-fi needed. So TwitterPeek is always on and always receiving your Twitter feed. No need to switch over to an application and wait for only your 100 most recent tweets to download. You have your entire feed in the palm of your hand.
Reviews are pouring in about this latest gadget. Since it is the first Twitter gadget/device, therefore, everyone is curious to know about it. I haven’t used it, but am having a close look at it’s reviews and users’ experiences.
On official website of Peek, they have highlighted some of the following features about TwitterPeek:
Unlimited tweeting anywhere, anytime No contracts, no credit checks, no activation fees ever! Large, full-color screen and full keyboard Long battery life of 4-5 days. Fully recharges in under 2 hours World’s first Twitter mobile device Nationwide coverage. No wifi signal necessary “Always on” instant tweet delivery Full QWERTY keyboard, large color screen, click scroll wheel 30-day money back guarantee 1-year manufacturers warranty Includes 6 months of service, $7.95/month thereafter
The company says:
“TwitterPeek will make it easy and affordable for everyone who really want to enjoy Twitter on the go,” said “Peekster-in-Chief” Amol Sarva, in a statement. “”Twitter die-hards will appreciate its ‘always-on’ instant tweet delivery and newbies will finally ‘get Twitter’ once they have TwitterPeek in hand. Even businesses that Twitter will dig TwitterPeek as a convenient way to stay connected with their customers.”
However, the question still remains that whether the users will spend money for a gadget which does not have multiple functions like cell phones, cameras, notebooks etc?
I had a chat on mIRC with a guy who just bought TwitterPeek after reading its TwitterPeek Review and he looks quite satisfied with it. He also pointed out it’s lack of functions, checking posted links and some other basic twitter features, but overall he says it’s good.

Over the years, millions of people have died from the habit of smoking and inhaling tobacco.
It is obvious that smoking tobacco can bring more harm than the temporary pleasure it gives. Let’s look at 5 reasons why you need to stop smoking right now.
Lung Cancer
This may seem scary enough for most of us, but for avid smoker, an acute awareness that this is real and the habit you indulge in right now is slowly leading you down this undesirable path. Tobacco contains carcinogenic ingredients which causes cancer cells to form. Once you have been diagnosed with lung cancer, there is slim chance of reversing the damage that has been done to your delicate lung tissues. It takes a lot of money and time to treat this disease as well.
Heart Disease
Heart disease is another dangerous consequence of smoking on a regular basis. The poisonous tobacco smoke when inhaled can cause your heart tissues to become damaged. Aside from damage to the heart tissues, the active ingredients in tobacco smoke would also harm the blood vessels and causes blood pressure to rise. This can lead to stroke, paralysis and even death. Bad Breath
Perhaps you have noticed the unbearable bad breath of an avid smoker. If proper mouth hygiene is not observed, the habit of smoking can result in bad breath and gum disease. More problems down the road that affects your health and looks. This can be one of the biggest turn offs when you are trying to make an impression on anyone else. Bad breath can sabotage your best efforts to make a favorable impression.
Infertility
Infertility would be perhaps the least desirable effect of smoking. Sadly smokers have been found to have low fertility levels and pregnant women who smoke tends to suffer from more miscarriages and birth defects than non smoking moms. Electric Cigarette Making Machine Reviews
Bones and Joints
Smoking can affect the bones and joints as well. Inflammation of the joints, arthritis and aches are common occurrences among tobacco smokers. The rate of bone and joint disease escalates faster among smokers than with non smokers. If you are over the age of 50, you run the risk of getting a severe case of osteoporosis if you keep on smoking.
It is obvious that cigarette smoking brings on a slew of undesirable health issues that everyone can really do without. The problem with most smokers is the act of giving up this pleasurable activity. Most smokers have been enjoying this habit for years and the ways to stop smoking aren’t easy given something as addictive as smoking tobacco. But quitting for good is certainly not an impossible feat. What you need is determination and knowing the right way to go about doing it safely and effectively.
Fortunately there are some very effective stop smoking aids available to help. However you go about it, once you stop you will find your quality of life will improve in many, many ways. Not only will you avoid the problems above, you will have more energy, stamina, and most importantly, a considerably longer life-span! Electric Cigarette Making Machine Reviews

Why should you quit smoking cigarettes? Because cigarettes effect just about every area of your body and life. Let’s take a peek at a few, shall we?
Smoking slows your circulation which effects your blood flow to your heart and other organs. If you are a man it can effect your genitals. This should be enough right there to stop smoking, don’t you agree?
Smoking depletes the mineral content in your body, weakening your bones. When your bone mass decreases you are more likely if you’re a woman to develop osteoporosis. You can reduce your risk of osteoporosis by quitting smoking.
One of the big fears for smokers is lung cancer. And it’s no wonder because 80% of lung cancer is brought on by smoking. My dad smoked for years before dying of lung cancer.
Did you know lung cancer also leads to brain cancer? The brain is one of the first places lung cancer spreads. My wife’s mom and grandmother both died of brain cancer. It just makes good sense to stop smoking to prevent lung cancer, doesn’t it?
Another lung condition which is effected by smoking is emphysema which leads to shortness of breath and may lead to an impairment of your heart. You guessed it. Stop smoking and reduce your risk of developing emphysema.
Do you hear what I am saying? Electronic Cigarette Store
If not it may be because smokers have a 70% greater chance of developing hearing loss. than nonsmokers. Want to keep your hearing… stop smoking.
Studies show psoriasis is linked to smoking cigarettes on a daily basis. And if you smoke over 1 pack a day you increase your risk.
I already mentioned smoking restricts circulation, and if you spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter your fingers and toes can feel icy cold. Quitting smoking allows your blood to flow and your hands stay warmer.
By quitting smoking you are less likely to burn up your furniture. My wife used to fall asleep watching TV while smoking and burned several holes in our sofa. The sofa must have had some kind of fire retardant coating on it. It’s amazing she didn’t burn the house down.
And the money. Today the average cost in the U.S. for a pack of cigarettes is $5. If you smoke only one pack a day this equals to $150 a month or over $1800 a year… $18,000 in ten years. Stop smoking and you’ll never have to tell your kids…
…”I can’t afford it.”
You can decrease your risk of heart disease and heart attack by quitting smoking. The tar in cigarettes stops up your arteries and restricts blood flow. Obviously not getting the proper amount of blood to your heart can result in chronic heart failure.
I know you’ve heard the lie… my food tastes better after a smoke. This is just an excuse for not trying to quit smoking. Smoking diminishes the taste of food and the pleasure of eating. When you stop smoking you’ll enjoy your food more.
Cigarettes contains 4000 chemicals so how can all of these chemicals add flavor to your food. As a matter of fact why don’t you pour some formaldehyde or some ammonia over your eggs in the morning since your food tastes better with cigarettes. These are just two of the chemicals found in cigarettes.
Smoking cigarettes is like getting the death penalty.
When are you going to quit playing mind games and stop smoking once and for all. Do it for you and nobody else. Others will benefit but do it for yourself. Because you want to.
And know when you quit smoking you will be faced with strong urges and withdrawal symptoms to continue smoking. Electronic Cigarette Store

The main health risks smoking cigarettes pertain to diseases of the cardiovascular system, in particular heart attack, cardiovascular disease, diseases of the respiratory tract such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), asthma, emphysema, and cancer, particularly lung cancer and cancers of the larynx and tongue.
A person’s increased risk of contracting disease is directly proportional to the length of time that a person continues to smoke as well as the amount smoked. However, if someone stops smoking, then these chances gradually decrease as the damage to their body is repaired. A year after quitting, the risk of contracting heart disease is half that of a continuing smoker. The health risks of smoking are not uniform across all smokers. Risks vary according to amount of tobacco smoked, with those who smoke more at greater risk. Light smoking cigarettes is still a health risk. Likewise, it does not reduce the risks. Electronic Cigarette Cartridges
Another problem with people is alcoholism. The term “alcoholism” refers to a disease known as alcohol dependence syndrome, the most severe stage of a group of drinking problems which begins with splurge drinking and alcohol abuse. Alcohol tribulations occur at different levels of severity, from meek and annoying to life-threatening. Although alcohol dependence (alcoholism) is the most severe stage, less relentless drinking problems can also be dangerous.
The problem of alcohol and smoking of cigarettes is treatable but for someone to be treated has to have a sincere desire to get help. Alcoholics and those who are into smoking of cigarettes, if are pressured into treatment by social pressure or forced to quit by circumstances rarely succeed in the long run. Even most alcoholics who seek help on their own volition have at least one relapse before they obtain long-term sobriety. Electronic Cigarette Cartridges
